Assistant Supervisor-USPS Mailsorting

We're searching for a skilled and experienced Assistant Supervisor for our USPS Mailsorting Department.
Job Summary: Assist Supervisor in fulfilling all requirements of contract.
Essential Functions:
? Understand and comply with all company personnel, safety, manufacturing, material
handling, and quality control policies and procedures
? Thoroughly understand meet all requirements of USPS Empty Foreign Mailbag Sorting
contract
? Understand who to contact at USPS for all routine and emergency communication
requirements, how to reach them, and what to say for each routine or emergency
situation.
? Be able to fill in when Supervisor is absent, taking direction from Supervisor,
Warehousing & Shipping regarding actions needed, assuring that directions are followed
and reporting back on any problems in timely enough manner to assure successful and
on-time execution of assigned tasks.
? Help assure that trucks are unloaded and loaded accurately and quickly
? Help assure that all bags and skids are accurately filled and labeled, and that all post cons
are properly labeled and filled
? Recommend and implement all production schedules and plans to meet requirements
? Help assure overall cleanliness and safety of production, storage, break/lunchroom and
bathroom areas
? Be prepared to work overtime as needed
? Help assist Supervisor in preparation of all required USPS and management reports
? Perform all other activities as requested by Management.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
? HS diploma

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
